King Salmon Outfitters Fishing Camp Location

King Salmon Outfitters is located in Bristol Bay Alaska, a bay internationally recognized as Alaska's salmon capital. Camp is 40 miles from the coast right on the banks of one of the Bay's most productive rivers: the Nushagak. This river hosts the best fishing for Kings, Chums, Silvers and Sockeye, plus excellent populations of Arctic Char, Rainbow and Dolly Varden Trout, and Northern Pike.

Being located right on the river means around-the-clock fishing, you never have to step away. Eating and sleeping is suggested of course. We provide comfortable lodging and mess, as well as delicious home cooked meals.

Besides the fish, the surrounding area is home to abundant wild life: moose, caribou, eagles, otters, beavers, bear, etc. Our rafting trip from Tikchik Lake down the Nuyakuk gives a perfect opportunity to take in and sample the scenery.
